The metaverse is a parallel world connected to our own, where intelligent agents exist and interact with the real world. They purchase goods and services and consume information like real human beings, although they do not exist in physical form.
The short stories in this Universe usually take place in urban areas in North American or European countries. As such, we can see our relationship with the latest technologies as they evolve around us.
